Castle Tower, Ladis

The sketch took about an hour. I know, it’s a lot time for one sketch. The cause – I was trying new brushpens Pastel Set from Ecoline. They haven’t behaved as I expected. The colors are nice but when they dryed out it hard to mix them with water. And Aquamarkers Goya Solo are still my favourits. When they are mixed with water, the last behave as real watercolors.

Sadly that the castle closed in winter. But in summer visitors have a chance to have a look.

It was built on a steep rocky slope overlooking the valley. On the other side there is a town that you can go from one end to another in a quarter of an hour.
